Christian Kindergarten, Christian Middle School & Christian High School in San Francisco, CA

San Francisco Christian School’s academic program begins in the four-year-old Kindergarten Beginnings class. The children are introduced to phonics, numbers, and printing at our Christian elementary school. The Kindergarten Beginnings class and the Christian Kindergarten classes are full-day, academic programs. After elementary school is completed, students move on to our Christian middle school classes to continue their academics and work with the Lord.

Between kindergarten and high school graduation, all students are instructed in the Bible, reading, English, math, history, science, physical education, art, and music. A Christian philosophy of education is the foundation for all subjects taught in the classroom.

When a student graduates from San Francisco Christian School, he or she is fully prepared to enroll in a college or university. Many of the graduates of SFCS have completed degrees from various colleges and are now faithfully serving the Lord in their churches. SFCS is one of the best private high schools in San Francisco, CA, so you know your child will get the most of their time here.

Students involved in sports must maintain a 2.0 GPA with no more than one “F” in any class and no incompletes. Athletes are expected to maintain at least a “C-“ in Bible class. (Under California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) guidelines, a student with a GPA under 2.0 maybe granted special permission to participate for a limited amount of time during a probationary period.)

Jesus Christ “came to seek and to save that which was lost.” San Francisco Christian School emphasizes the need of a personal relationship with Jesus Christ through the preaching of God’s Word. All students are encouraged to receive the Lord Jesus Christ as Savior. We encourage each student to join and attend their local Bible-believing church.
