“He is like a tree planted by water, that sends out its roots by the stream, and does not fear when heat comes, for its leaves remain green, and is not anxious in the year of drought, for it does not cease to bear fruit.” —Jeremiah 17:8
Why do you work for San Francisco Christian School?
I teach at San Francisco Christian because God called me here to minister to the students and families of SFCS.
Interesting Facts
I am a proud Bay Area native. I am blessed to have had parents that love God and other people in word and action. They also valued Christian education and sacrificed so my brothers and I could attend a Christian school when we were young. I have taught fourth grade at SFCS for 22 years, and consider it a great privilege that both of my daughters have been able to attend SFCS since they were in KB. My oldest is now an SFCS alumni (class of 2026) and my youngest is a freshman in high school.
What I love the most about teaching is helping students learn about how much God loves them and helping them know and fulfill the purpose He has for their lives.
