Your completed application and all other necessary forms should be turned in to the Admissions Office in person, by email ([email protected]), or by fax (415-841-0833).
School tours are given Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. by appointment only.
Please keep in mind there is a separate admissions process for international students.

Teacher and principal/counselor recommendation forms are requested from the student’s current school directly by SFCS for students applying to 6th–12th grades.
A child enrolling in kindergarten beginnings must be four years old by December 1.*

When Step 1 is completed, all students applying for grades 1–12 will take an in-person screening test. The test will last about one hour, and your child is tested on Math and Reading proficiency. Test results are received 24-48 hours after and will be shared and discussed during the student interview. During this time, the student will be able to shadow the class they are applying to.
