I have been a follower of Jesus for over twenty years. Though I wasn’t raised in a Christian home, Jesus found me. After choosing to attend a Christian college to learn about Him, I committed my life to be His disciple in the second semester. While I knew God loved me in my brain, I didn’t understand His love in my heart. I felt led to participate in a week-long mission trip to build a new home for a family in Ensenada, Mexico. During the trip, I was in a tragic car accident; while three friends passed on to eternity with Jesus, two of us miraculously survived. I had what is called a near death experience when I got to have a taste of heaven. In 2023, I was able to publish my memoir called “Hope in the Darkest Hour: A Memoir of Survival and Resilience.”
I am delightfully married to the love of my life, and we have a daughter who attends SFC in high school. I have lived in California for most of my years, while the rest of my family is scattered around the United States, and one brother and his wife who live abroad.
I absolutely enjoy getting to know my students and helping them to grow in all ways, but especially in teaching each one about God’s love and good plans for them.
I am super optimistic and hopeful for the most amazing year our school has seen yet! We have wonderful new teachers on board, and our administration and leadership has been growing stronger! With the Holy Spirit leading us, we are going to see some awe-inspiring moments!
