Why do you work for San Francisco Christian School?

I chose to work here at SFCS for a couple of reasons. One I wanted to be closer to my own kids who also attend SFCS. I have taught in a non christian private school and also in the public schools and all throughout my years of teaching I was always restricted about teaching God’s word. I wanted to be able to freely speak about the Bible and teach God’s word.. I did not want to deal with these restrictions anymore.

Interesting Facts

I am the first grade teacher here at SFC. This is my 4th year teaching at SFC, and I have been teaching for 24 years. Before I came to SFC I worked as a Special Education Teacher for children with severe disabilities. As a teacher I love watching children progress in their learning and develop the skills they have been working so hard to learn. Working here at SFC, I love how we can share the word of God and how He is the center of our classrooms. I have 3 children who all attend SFC. My children have all grown to love the Lord thanks to all the wonderful teachers at SFC. I started at SFC as a parent when my oldest was in 2nd grade, and now he is a Senior! My husband is a pastor at a church here in San Francisco. My family and I love to spend time together. We all love the outdoors, traveling, and camping.
