I am so excited that I get to come to work and share the gospel with my kids each and every day. I am so lucky to be at a place where we get to do this unapologetically. Outside the classroom, my life is full and fabulous. My wife, Ashlley, and I have a dog named Coconut who thinks he runs the household, and we’re counting down the days until we welcome our baby girl this October — so it’s shaping up to be a big year for our family. When I’m not teaching, you’ll usually find me out on a trail somewhere, backpacking in the Sierras en route to a beautiful mountain sunset. I also love to travel with my family, try new food wherever I go, and unwind with a good audiobook.
What I love most about teaching is watching kids discover who God made them to be, and I take that seriously as more than just a classroom goal. I want every child in the school to hear the gospel and understand it. This is my third year at SFC, but my first year as a lead teacher, moving from second to third grade. I am so excited to build trust with my students and helping them recognize and fulfill their potential.
