Your child can prepare for college with guidance along the way, even if they will be the first in your family to go. Since 1971, SFC has helped students prepare for that step, including first-generation college students.

Preparing for the next chapter

As you consider SFC, you may wonder what opportunities this education could open for your child. College preparation grows across the school years: students learn to think critically, persevere, and use their time and talents wisely. The aim is to help them become thoughtful, capable, Christ-centered young adults, ready for the responsibilities and relationships that come with their next stage of life.

In high school, personal college counseling helps students connect their interests and goals with possible next steps.

Where preparation has led

SFC graduates have earned acceptance across the University of California and California State University systems, at private and Christian colleges from San Francisco to Southern California, and at universities around the country and overseas. These acceptances offer examples of the opportunities graduates have had as they choose their own paths.

Many of our graduates have gone on to become upper-level executives, to earn advanced degrees from prestigious universities, and to carry the mission and vision of SFC into the next step of their lives.
