Faith

Calvary Baptist Church

Understand the church behind your child's school. A ministry of Calvary Baptist Church, SFC shares its Biblical foundation and commitment to serving San Francisco.

The faith behind your child’s education

As you get to know SFC, it helps to know the church whose ministry we are. Calvary Baptist Church of San Francisco, also called Calvary of SF, has served the city since 1925. Its mission is Love God, Love Others, Make Disciples, and its vision is sharing the Gospel in San Francisco and around the world until all have heard.

Our Statement of Faith is the church’s, and pastors help lead our weekly chapels. You can read those beliefs in full as you consider SFC for your family.

A shared home in the city

SFC became part of Calvary’s ministry in 1984. Our junior and senior high first met in Calvary’s Mission Street facilities in 1972 and returned in 1989. The school and church continue to share this corner of San Francisco.
