Girls’ Volleyball

Your daughter can learn to call for the ball, trust the pass, and stay ready for the next point.

Come and play

Volleyball is six players who have to talk to each other. Every point starts with somebody calling for the ball and somebody else trusting her to get it. Your daughter will practice both.

Mistakes are public in this sport, and so is encouragement. A team that keeps lifting each other up plays better than a team that does not.

  • Clear communication. Calling the ball out loud, every time.
  • Trust. Playing the pass a teammate meant to make.
  • Readiness. Staying on her toes through a long rally.
  • Encouragement. Answering a lost point with the next serve.

Following the Trojans

Match dates appear on the Athletics Calendar. The season schedule and results are kept on MaxPreps.

Volleyball is one way SFC puts Healthy Body into practice, the H in H.E.A.R.T.: caring for the body God has given your daughter, and using it for His glory.
