Boys’ Basketball

Your son can build real skill, make decisions at speed, and learn to put the team ahead of the shot.

Come and play

Basketball always gives your son the next possession. Miss, and the ball comes back. Lose it, and there is a defense to get back for. Few sports teach a student so quickly that the last mistake is over.

Skill here is built rather than brought. Shooting, handling and defending all answer to practice, which means a willing beginner has somewhere to go.

  • Skill. Shooting and handling that answer to repetition.
  • Decisions at speed. Reading the floor in a moment.
  • Team first. Passing up a shot for a better one.
  • Composure. Playing the next possession, not the last.

Following the Trojans

Game dates appear on the Athletics Calendar. The season schedule and results are kept on MaxPreps.

Basketball is one way SFC puts Healthy Body into practice, the H in H.E.A.R.T.: caring for the body God has given your son, and using it for His glory.
