Boys’ Club Volleyball

Your son can learn the rhythm of a rally and find out how much every teammate’s touch matters.

Come and play

Club volleyball is another way onto a court. A rally allows three touches at most, which means your son cannot do it alone and will not have to.

It is a good place to begin. Much of the game is learnable in a season: where to stand, when to move, and how to set up the teammate behind you.

  • Coordination. Hands, feet and timing, trained together.
  • Every touch counts. Three contacts, three teammates.
  • Communication. Saying what you are about to do.
  • Patience. Staying in a long rally.

Volleyball is one way SFC puts Healthy Body into practice, the H in H.E.A.R.T.: caring for the body God has given your son, and using it for His glory.

Is volleyball the right fit?

Mr. Valenzuela can tell you when club volleyball runs, what it asks of a family, and how your son can join. Ask him where to start.
